Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

After they’ve been given the proper guidance from those with experience and know-how, they take their own lead, going places they’ve never gone, seeing things they’ve never seen, and diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork and character to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible.

Sea Scouting is a program for boys and girls 13–21 years of age, designed to teach leadership and responsibility through a boating program. The Sea Scouts started in 1912. While it has changed over the years, it continues to uphold the traditions of the sea under the auspices of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA)
